Two post in one week!? I feel like I’m spamming you all xD I did a few quick variations for the shepherd character I’m going to use for my illustration. I’m going to go with thumbnail #2 (from my previous post) and character #2.

I hadn’t planned on sharing these since they’re very loose, but I haven’t posted in a while so here’s what I’m up to! I decided to drop my old background because it was to lifeless and start over with something new. Loosely based on what I got from a theme generator, ”Lonely Shepherd in ghost town”. He’s going to be investigating a deserted town covered by weird vegetation. I’m not sure about giving him a few sheep or leaving him alone, he could be trying to find his herd or something, what do you guys think?

I’m back to doing backgrounds, it’s going to be set in a gothic-inspired setting. On top, quick sketchup layout, under is the blocking of the scene as it stands now, it still feels to empty so I’ll be putting stuff in the sort of court yard in front of the tunnel and putting some furniture and stuff in the tunnel itself. I’ll post the final blocked sketch before getting into the detail work

This is pretty much almost done, I’m just missing a couple of textures and a bit of refining in some areas. I’ll be posting the final version as a character sheet in my portfolio later this week.

The lines are gone, there’s still some accessories missing and not everything is finished being painted, but I’m nearly at detail& final texture phase.

Just finished the background piece I showed last week. The whole thing took a week total or less, but I didn’t get much time to work on it. I decided to add some creatures to add some life into it.
